Essensuals Hairdressing Kuching celebrated their launch on the 09.09.2009, led by our Director Jacqueline Chang, along with her team of esteemed stylists and technicians.

In 2009, Jacqueline was appointed Director of Essensuals Hairdressing Kuching by TONI&GUY Hairdressing, becoming the first international salon and first Essensuals franchise salon in Malaysia.

Jacqueline built her hardworking team with graduates from the Cutting Edge Academy and they all received intensive training at the TONI&GUY Academy in Singapore to achieve the professionalism and skills that the Essensuals brand is founded upon. Involved in Fashion shoots and shows across Malaysia, Jacqueline thrives on a positive attitude and continuous training.

Jacqueline’s passion for hairdressing has spanned over 15 years as she trained intensively at the key hair academies in London including TONI&GUY, Vidal Sassoon and the City & Guilds, which provided her with an in-depth knowledge of the trade and enabled her to build up a respected and well-known Hair Salon and Academy in her hometown.

An opportunity for continuous self-development provides a platform for her team to continuously learn and upgrade not only within their hairdressing skills but also on a creative and innovative level. Actively involved with the Malaysian Hairdressers Association (MHA) for several years has enabled the Essensuals team to share their knowledge and expertise at the annual “Hair Gala Night”.
